Monty drive to help young golfers
Colin Montgomerie
Monty was on hand to give youngsters tips for success
Colin Montgomerie is coaching golfing stars of the future in a drive to help them stay on course for success.

Monty ran the rule over a group of children as part of the HSBC Wee Wonders Open Golf Championships, a competition for five to 12-year-olds.

More than 1,000 young golfers each year play in 67 local qualifiers over nine regions for a place in the final at the home of golf, St Andrews.

"It's a fantastic initiative and great for grass-roots golf," Monty said.
