About Talent

BBC Radio Stoke Open Centre

Where does Talent happen?

Training on the BBC Radio Stoke Talent project starts in our state-of-the-art Open Centre. It's fully equiped with all the latest software and gives you a chance to use professional equipment in a professional environment!

BBC Radio Stoke Open Centre

In the Open Centre, you'll find out more about BBC Radio Stoke and get chance to edit some audio ... which is usually less complicated than people think!

You'll also have the chance to develop your own story ideas and work in groups as well as individually. Then you'll write your own webpage and edit your pictures to go online.

Stoke-on-Trent centre.

Getting to know the other people in your group is also an important part of Talent, so that you can share ideas, skills and expertise.

But it doesn't all happen inside ... we often travel to different places to record interviews and stories, and so you'll learn a lot whilst you're out and about too.

Talent is a great way to learn new skills, meet new people and try out new things!
