Jono has proposed to his girlfriend of 5 years, Kate. He did it outside the Liver Buildings - it's a special place because they met while at University in Liverpool. He asked her Mum and Dad's blessing before christmas and the general consensus seemed to be "about bloody time"! He knelt down on one knee and asked - she didn't say yes initially, but Jono thinks that was from being overcome with joy. She said yes, and the phone hasn't stopped ringing since. They've also put an offer on a house, Kate's job has been made permanent, so all the time is special at the moment, not just Valentine's Day...
