NEVER A LENDER...
By Ian Panton
When Ian was a child - his parents never borrowed a penny. It just wasn't done. Throughout his life - he's always tried to adopt the same attitude - but it's been hard and he's found himself spending on the credit card every now and then.
One year - after buying a holiday on plastic - he vowed never to do so again - so family holidays were few and far between. Now - Ian - who's seventy three - is left wondering if going into debt would've been worth the quality time he would have got with his children.

This is very good advice. I am 19, not a student but I am in debt by £7000 because it's so easy to get cards and loans. I am trying to get my self out of debt. Take Ians advise and NEVER borrow !
