CEMETARY By Gabriel Lock Gabriel, a Hasidic Jew from London, travels to Eastern Europe in search of vanished Jewish cemeteries. He tries to find one in a town in Slovakia but it has been turned into a park, obliterating all traces of the Jewish community who lived there for centuries. Local people are reluctant to talk to him, but eventually one man points him towards a gravestone hidden under a bush. Gabriel believes that if the cemeteries cease to exist, there will be no evidence that Jews ever lived there, leading to Holocaust denial.
