About time

To ask someone's age, we say:
Beth ydy d'oedran di? Neu Beth ydy'ch oedran chi?

Dw i'n ddau ddeg naw oed.I'm twenty nine years old.
Dw i'n dri deg pump oed.I'm thirty five years old.
Mae e'n dair oed.He's three years old.
Mae hi'n bedair oed.She's four years old.

  • Cofiwch, mae treiglad meddal ar ôl yn / 'n
  • Mae blwyddyn yn fenywaidd - blwyddyn is feminine. We always use the feminine numbers when talking about age, regardless of the gender of the person.
  • Pryd mae dy ben-blwydd di? Neu
    Pryd mae'ch pen-blwydd chi?
    When is your birthday?

    Mae fy mhen-blwydd i ar Ragfyr tri deg
    My birthday is on the thirtieth of December

  • Cofiwch - mae treiglad meddal ar ôl "o". (Y cynta o Fai, yr ail o Orffennaf etc.)
