Mae chwaer gyda fi.
Enw fy chwaer ydy Anna.
I have a sister.
My sister's name is Anna.
Mae nai gyda fi.
Enw fy nai ydy Iolo.
I have a nephew.

Above, you will see the pronoun fy (my) used. We need to remember that the pronoun 'fy' causes a treiglad trwynol (nasal mutation). The letters T C P B G D change directly after it. For example:

tadfy nhad
perthynasfy mherthynas
gwraigfy ngwraig
cefnderfy nghefnder
brawdfy mrawd

look at these examples:

Mae fy ngwraig yn athrawes. My wife is a teacher.
Enw fy nghyfnither ydy Susan. My cousin's name is Susan.
Enw fy mrawd-yng-nghyfraith ydy Owen.My brother-in-law's name is Owen.
Mae fy ngลตr yn beiriannydd. My husband is an engineer.
Mae fy nhad-cu yn bostmon. My grandfather is a postman.
