Asking a questions
In this section we will learn how to ask for something. We say:
Ga i ...? - Can I have ...? or Gawn ni ...? - Can we have? | Ga i hufen iรข? | Can I have ice cream? | | Ga i chwarae? | Can I play? | | Gawn ni siocled? | Can we have chocolate? | | Gawn ni sudd oren? | Can we have orange juice? | Notice that a soft mutation follows 'ga i', and 'gawn ni'. The letters T, C, P, B, G, D, Ll, M, Rh change. Look at these examples:| Ga i de? | Can I have tea? | te changes to de | | Ga i fara? | Can I have bread? | bara changes to fara |
You should use this response if you address a person as chi and if you are talking to more than one person.
The informal response is: You will use this response with people that you address as ti.
