President Bush addresses a rally in Saginaw, Michigan

It's decision day in the United States as millions of Americans go to the polls to elect a president.

The latest opinion polls show President George W Bush and his Democrat challenger Senator John Kerry in a virtual dead heat.

We want to see your pictures capturing the atmosphere of election day and the last, frantic days of campaigning.

How are people voting where you live? Did Senator Kerry or President Bush visit your town or city in the last few days? Do you have a photograph capturing their visit? If so, you can send it to the BBC News website.

We will be compiling the best photos from throughout the campaign in a photo gallery, so please send us your name, where you live and some brief details about the picture you have sent.

E-mail them to yourpics@bbc.co.uk
