Public servants?

Sgt Angela Mercer, Suffolk:

The government has to decide whether we are servants of the Crown - in which case they should honour the agreement because we are a special case. But if we are just another lot of public servants, then perhaps we should have the same rights as other public servants - and that includes the right to strike.
