Michael Parkin sent in this picture of the rescue effort going on around the Napoli.

Tug boats and helicopters have been used to aid the stricken vessel and search for 158 containers shed out of almost 2,400 it was carrying.

Two are believed to contain perfume and battery acid.

Some 168 of the 2,400 containers contain hazardous chemicals.
