Frankie and Kevin stole the show on our Halloween special with their high-flying Tango that Bruno said âcaptured the spirit of the showâ and sent us all green with envy. (Though not quite as green as Frankie's face paint.) Their wicked routine, which scored them an overall 37, left the Judges spellbound, and Bruno admitted it almost brought him to tears! Darcey said she had âshivers down my backâ and Bruno: âtingles down my spineâ. Len thought it was âspectacularâ and Craig: âFab. U. Lousâ.

Another frightfully good routine which wowed our Judges was Mark and Karenâs Jittery Jive to Little Shop of Horrors, which scored them 35, and made everyone want to âSeymourâ of this couple. Far from being eaten alive by the Judges, their light and springy âsweet shop full of tasty treatsâ (as Len put it), left our Judges smiling. âI have high hopes for you now, babeâ, complimented Darcey.
Up third was Pixie and Trentâs terrifying Tango to Electric Sixâs Danger! High Voltage: a hair-raising highlight that scored them a total of 33. Craig commented: âThe partnership is extraordinary. Trent, youâre pushing her to her limitâ.

Judy and Antonâs American Smooth to Cruella De Vil didnât quite hit the spot with our judges, scoring them a mere 20. But was it such a dogâs dinner that itâll send them walkies? Bruno laid into the dancing duo, saying: âYouâre not quite a sprinting greyhound yet - more a learning-to-walk rescue dogâ, as well as âYouâre confusing the American smooth with the American stiffâ and then: âYouâre constant. You deliver whatâs expected of you: nothing.â Yep, he really laid into them! Craig wasnât exactly kind either, adding: âThose dogs at the beginning had more grace and styleâ. And, as far as Craigâs similes go: âIt was like you were dancing with a mannequinâ is down there with some of his worst. Darcey, however, saw the positives, complimenting: âyouâve made a major improvementâ and Len agreed: âI thought it had a bit of style and sophistication, you captured the character⌠I thought you did a good job.â
With just one point more than Judy and Anton were Scott and Joanne, with 21. Dancing the Foxtrot to the Addams Family theme, Bruno commented: âYou kill me! Youâve created your own dance form: Strictly No Dancing!â but saw the positives, seeing it as âpanto-likeâ and âreally good funâ. Darcey agreed that the acting and characterisation were âterrificâ, and Len said it was âfunâ and âentertainingâ â probably their best.
So thatâs fright night over, but whoâll get the biggest fright in the results show? As always, one couple must get the chop. Tune in tomorrow to find out who!
