Charlie (Hugo Speer) feels a failure. He's bankrupt after his former life running a timeshare business, and under pressure from his area manager. He only feels in control when he resumes his affair with Kathy (Eva Pope). He can't stay away and claims that he loves her.
Newly reconciled with Roisin (Maria Doyle Kennedy), Harry (Neil Dudgeon) finds out that Charlie and Kathy are back together. He tells Charlie he's welcome to her, but on condition that they come out in the open and do things the right way. But Abigail (Josephine Butler) offers Charlie the chance to expand their little property business and become the big businessman once more. He realises he can't turn his back on all that for love. Finances, not to mention his ego, rule his head, and he resigns from the sorting office.
However, Charlie's world quickly comes crashing down, when Harry tells Abigail about the affair. She's overcome with shock, and locks him out of the house. On learning that he was going to stay with Abigail, Kathy feels betrayed by Charlie, and she too refuses to be with him. Meanwhile, Harry is ready to make a go of it with Roisin.
Elsewhere, a pool competition, combined with Dex's stag do, brings Jack closer to the group when a bit of foul play helps the lads to a memorable victory.
