For her solo set, Ash Reidâs performance will ask questions about exclusion from spaces of performance, the universal term of âwomanâ and how these actions âcan be used to expand upon the other exclusions taking place that are not so easily heard.â
Felt Events refers to the term seismologists use to describe earthquakes. This new piece from Ilana Halperin and Raymond MacDonald explores relationships between geological events and social relationships using saxophone, voice, orchestral musicians, graphic scores and improvisation.
Drawing on a wide range of influences and defying easy categorisation, Tut Vu Vu have been incorrectly referred to as: âmusique concrĂšteâ, âvaguely jazz based rhythm with a wayward electronic dispositionâ or âthe love child of David Lynch and AnaĂŻs Ninâ. For Tectonics, Tut Vu Vu will perform a newly composed quadraphonic piece exploring electronics, instrumental rhythm and spatial sound.
