Summer fruit smoothie

This berry smoothie contains yoghurt to add a little protein and creaminess. It's super simple to make – just throw everything in a blender and you're done. To enjoy this smoothie all year round try it with frozen berries.

Ingredients
- 225g/8oz fresh or frozen blackberries
- 225g/8oz fresh or frozen raspberries
- 225g/8oz fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 just-ripe medium banana, broken into pieces
- 150ml/¼ pint natural plain yoghurt
- 150ml/¼ pint milk
- 1 tbsp icing sugar (optional)
Method
Measure all the ingredients into a food processor and whiz until smooth. Alternatively use a hand-held blender.
Pour into a glass and enjoy. Best enjoyed within 24 hours of making.
