Liquid Nightclub in Gloucester gets to play host to two of the UK's most glamourous Urban artistes this November with a head to headline special featuring Lisa Maffia and Romeo of So Solid Crew fame.

Lisa is known as The First Lady of So Solid because she was the sole woman in the massive south London garage outfit. "I wasn't always mad about being a star," said Lisa "but I was always mad about singing." Raised on Whitney and Marvin Gaye Lisa was raised on Luther Vandross, Whitney and Marvin Gaye and despite some low paid jobs and becoming a single mum when she was pretty young her love of music just wouldn't go away.  | Romeo: Urban heartthrob |
It was when she was 18 that she made her first recording with South London friends So Solid and from then on, her career started to really move. The band got their first number one with '21 Seconds', in August 2001 followed by platinum album, They Don't Know. Now Lisa is embarked on her solo career and her glamourous image certainly means she gets her fair share of the limelight. Heartthrob Romeo Lisa is joined at Liquid by fellow So Solid heartthrob Romeo. His hit singles Romeo Dunn and ItΒs All Gravy confirmed him to be at the forefront of the genre and his record Solid Love combined ragga, acid, jungle, garage and contemporary R&B. Romeo and Lisa Maffia will performing individual headline sets on the night. So get ready for a night of distinctive urban grooves!
