A number of Manx ferry crossings have been rescheduled over the weekend due to tidal conditions in Heysham , the Steam Packet Company has said.

It means Friday's 13:45 GMT Manxman crossing from Heysham, will now go at 15:45, and the 19:15 crossing from Douglas will leave at 21:15.

Saturday's overnight 01:45 crossing has been pushed back to 03:30, and the 08:00 sailing from Douglas will leave at 09:45.

Sunday's 08:00 crossing will now leave 45 minutes later, and Monday's morning departure has been pushed back by an hour to 09:00, with the 13:45 return from Heysham now scheduled for 14:30.

It comes as the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool is closed over the weekend, meaning sailings to Liverpool will instead be operating to Heysham, with coaches laid on for foot passengers.

The closure is for the Department of Infrastructure to complete upgrades on a protective cushioning device, known as a mooring dolphin fender, following damage caused in berthing trials at the end of 2024.
