The family of a man who died in a four-vehicle collision in East Yorkshire have paid tribute to him.

Andrew Garnett, 52, was killed in the incident on the A1035 near Tickton, Beverley, on Tuesday morning.

His family said: "Andrew was the kindest, most gentle and loving son, dad, brother, uncle and fiancé anyone could ever wish for.

"Adored and cherished by everyone who knew him, a huge void has forever been left in our hearts."

Humberside Police said they believed a Nissan Micra and HGV collided, before the HGV was involved in a crash with a BMW 330e and a Volkswagen Polo.

Garnett, who was driving the BMW, died at the scene, with the other drivers taken to hospital.

The force said it was working to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
