Woman traced after alleged sexual assault

A woman has been identified following the release of CCTV images in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

Gloucestershire Police said the alleged incident occurred at a bus stop opposite the Esso garage on Pirton Lane in Churchdown, Gloucester, at about 07:10 GMT on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said it was reported that an unknown woman "approached and kissed a female on the cheek without her consent". She then grabbed her by the arm as she attempted to board a bus, they said.

A woman the force said it wanted to speak to in connection with the incident was identified on Monday shortly after the CCTV images were published online.
