Police investigating the theft of a bag containing £60,000 worth of jewellery from a train have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to.

The bag was stolen from the overhead storage of a train travelling from London King's Cross to Edinburgh at about 16:15 GMT on Sunday.

The men pictured left the train when it arrived into York Station, police said.

British Transport Police said the men in the images may have information that could help their investigation, and appealed for any witnesses to get in touch.
