Motorcyclist dies after two-vehicle crash

A man in his 20s has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car.

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called just after 18:00 GMT on Wednesday to reports of a collision on the A272 between Rodfield Lane and Owslebury, near Winchester.

Officers said it involved a silver Nissan X-Trail and a blue Suzuki motorcycle, and they confirmed the motorcyclist, from Hythe, died at the scene.

The force has appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
