Two arrested after £1.6m cannabis cultivation found in Dundee

Two 43-year-old men have been arrested after a £1.6m cannabis cultivation was found in Dundee.

Officers made the discovery after executing a warrant in Buchanan Street in the Stobswell area of the city on Thursday afternoon.

Detectives said approximately 2,000 plants were recovered in the operation.

Both men are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court later.

Det Insp Keir Smith said it was a "significant discovery."

He said: "Information from the public is vital to our work and we continue to urge people report any concerns to us."
