Lisa Dorrian is believed to have died on the night of 27 February 2005 or in the early hours of the following morning

Two people arrested on Wednesday in connection to the murder of Lisa Dorrian have both been released on bail pending further inquiries, police have said.

A 40-year-old woman and 42-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder, assisting offenders, withholding information and preventing a lawful and decent burial.

Lisa has not been seen since she attended a house party at a caravan park in the County Down village of Ballyhalbert, at the end of February 2005.

PSNI detectives investigating the disappearance and murder of Lisa said they remain determined to provide justice for her family and want anyone with information to contact them.

The man had been arrested in Scotland while the woman was arrested in Bangor in County Down.
