Man charged over Derry kidnapping
BBCPolice investigating a report of a kidnapping in Londonderry last year have charged a 31-year-old man.
It happened in Northland Terrace on 1 October.
The man has been charged with a number of offences including kidnap, false imprisonment, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, burglary and theft.
He is expected to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Friday.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
