Aguilera fluffs US national anthem

Christina Aguilera fluffed a line of the Star-Spangled banner as she belted out a version of the US national anthem to open Sunday's Super Bowl in Texas.

The singer should have sung: "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?" but repeated an earlier line with a slight variation.

She sang: "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming."

Afterwards, Aguilera said she was "lost in the moment" but hoped the "true spirit" of the anthem still came through.
