China takes centre stage at Edinburgh Fringe and Festival

Amongst the thousands of shows at the Edinburgh this year are a Chinese King Lear, a Chinese Hamlet and a Chinese Romeo and Juliet.

Both the main and the Fringe festival are reflecting what is being described as "a new and extraordinary cultural flowering" of Chinese art.
