Home Office 'should have acted faster on Qatada'

Radical cleric Abu Qatada can be deported to Jordan after assurances were obtained that he will get a fair trial, the home secretary has told MPs.

The Shadow Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper agreed with the decision, but she said that the Home Office should have moved faster.
