Protest over US budget stalemate

Lawmakers in Washington DC are working to agree on a budget deal to avoid the prospect of a government shutdown.

If one goes ahead hundreds of thousands of government employees will be forced to stay at home.

Dozens protested on the streets of Washington, as Rajini Vaidyanathan reports.
