Early snow storms cause chaos in north-east US

Heavy winter snow has hit the East Coast of the US unusually early this year.

Flights have been disrupted and power cut in more than a million homes.

The states of Maryland and Pennsylvania have been particularly hard hit and New York has seen its heaviest October snowfall in more than 140 years.
