FBI arrests a man in Ohio linked to terror plot

The FBI has arrested a man claiming sympathy with Islamic militants, for allegedly planning to attack the US Capitol.

Christopher Cornell, 20, is charged with attempting to kill a US government officer, according to court documents.

He was detained in Ohio after allegedly trying to buy firearms and 600 rounds of ammunition on Wednesday.
