Water situation 'clearly totally unacceptable' - Sir Keir Starmer

The prime minister says the situation for South East Water customers in Kent and Sussex is "clearly totally unacceptable".

Sir Keir Starmer says ministers have chaired daily emergency meetings during the crisis to "hold the company to account".

He was responding to a question in the House of Commons from Liberal Democrats leader Sir Ed Davey, who says the water firm "keeps failing its customers over and over again" and asks if the government would "strip them of their licence".
