Which TV show from when you were younger do you want remade?

There's definitely more stories in Balamory to come, as the iconic CBeebies show returns to our screens later this month.

Running from 2002 to 2005, Balamory became a television staple for young people.

The residents of Balamory solved everyday problems through friendship and fun, and at its peak attracted two million viewers every week in the UK.

Some of the original stars will be joined by some new faces, and the team hopes that the show will now be loved by a whole new generation of viewers.

As with the original, the series has been filmed on location in Tobermory, a town on the isle of Mull in Scotland. As well as in a studio in Glasgow.

Julie Wilson Nimmo, better known in her role as Miss Hoolie, says the revival is like a "love letter to the original".

Andre Agnew, who plays PC Plum, added "it's such an honour to be back doing something that we love so much".

The pair did not give many details about the new series, but they did confirm that there will be new songs! Alongside the revamping of some of the old ones.
