A parrot who was found at Dublin Airport has been safely reunited with its owner again.
The brightly coloured Alexandrine parakeet was discovered near Terminal One by airport police on Easter Sunday.
Staff at the airport nicknamed the bird 'Troy' after the Republic of Ireland footballer Troy Parrott.
However, when 'Troy's' owner Gheorghe, was eventually found through their tag number, it was revealed that the little parrot was a girl and her name was Lola!

Lola got to enjoy some tasty fruit snacks on her adventure
Lola was cared for at the airport police station during her adventure and was given fruit, water, toys, and a temporary enclosure built by the airport's K9 unit who handle police dogs.
She also made friends with the airport's social media team who shared some fun updates about her, including that she loves watermelon and strawberries, is very loud when not getting enough attention, and was happy for "Troy" to be kept as her middle name.
In a post on social media the airport confirmed that Lola is now "back home with her pal".
