Can You Cook It? Auditions

From Friday 2nd to Sunday 11th March, the Blue Peter team, including presenters Konnie Huq and Andy Akinwolere, were on the road with their mobile kitchen in search of a junior television cook to join them in the studio throughout 2007.

Where did they go?

The Blue Peter team travelled to Glasgow, Leeds, Peterborough, Cardiff, Exeter and London auditioning children aged between 7 and 14 for this unique opportunity.

What happens next?

The 12 finalists will go on to take part in a residential boot camp with the Blue Peter presenters where they will learn skills in TV presenting and cooking.

After the boot camp, three finalists will be chosen to come to the Blue Peter Studio for the final cook off. Blue Peter viewers will then vote for the Blue Peter Cook of 2007.
