Port Talbot Steelworks is one of the largest steel mills in Europe. But over recent years, there have been thousands of job losses at the plant. It's a story that has come to define the town.

The wider community, unions and politicians fought hard to prevent the job losses, but have been unable to withstand the pressure of global economic changes. The job losses raised huge concerns about the future economic health of the town. Around 2,000 employees remain, and the mill is in the process of building a new electric furnace. But Port Talbot's future remains unclear.
