Port Talbot Steelworks is one of the largest steel mills in Europe. But over recent years, there have been thousands of job losses at the plant. It's a story that has come to define the town. The wider community, unions and politicians fought hard to prevent the job losses, but have been unable to withstand the pressure of global economic changes. The job losses raised huge concerns about the future economic health of the town. Around 2,000 employees remain, and the mill is in the process of building a new electric furnace. But Port Talbot's future remains unclear. Catrin Nye talks to former steel workers and experts about the true long-term impact of uncertainty, and industrial change. In a fast changing, globalised work, how can Welsh communities like Port Talbot rebuild and thrive into the future - away from the glare of the media spotlight? And how can we reframe the future of post-industrial Wales?
