Kellie Maloney: 'Seriously considering' getting boxing licence back
Former boxing promoter Kellie Maloney has told BBC 5 Live that she is āseriously consideringā reapplying for her boxing licence.
Maloney was speaking about the Martin Murray v Gennady Golovkin fight in Monte Carlo when she admitted she misses boxing and would like to go back to it.
āI think boxers today are not getting the opportunity to develop their careers properlyā¦where I come from a world where we developed fightersā.
She explained her plans to attend a boxing event with her daughter and how they will then sit down and discuss it, āIf I feel like it I will then reapply for my licence, yesā, she said.
She also talked about Frank Maloney, and said he was āthe mask that was hiding Kellyā and that she has now buried the side of Frank she needed to.
āI have never been so happy, Iāve never been so contented, and Iām a lot nicer to be around so Iāve been toldā she said.
