āPaula is no drugs cheatā says her husband
Paula Radcliffeās husband Gary Lough protests the world marathon record holderās innocence.
Radcliffe has said questions raised during a parliamentary select committee "effectively implicated" her in an article published in the Sunday Times investigating doping in UK athletes.
Speaking to Eleanor Oldroyd, Paulaās husband Gary Lough says āshe is going to take it upon herself to stand up for the sport.ā
āWe didnāt choose to release Paulaās blood dataā said Lough.
āIām pretty sure thereās a bunch of clean athletes who have been lumped into the same boatā¦Iād like to see WADA come out and state there is no case to answer.ā
In response to the allegations the three-time London Marathon winner issued a statement saying she was "devastated" that her name had been "linked to these wide-ranging accusations".
