Martinez 'heartbroken' by linesman's call
Everton manager Roberto Martinez says he is āheartbrokenā by Manchester Cityās controversial second goal in their Capital One Cup semi-final second leg.
Martinezās side were enjoying a 3-2 aggregate lead before Kevin De Bruyne scored for Manchester City, despite the ball appearing to roll out of play in the build-up to the goal.
Sergio Aguero's header then fired Manchester City into next monthās Wembley final, where they will meet Liverpool.
"It's heartbreaking. Everyone that has seen the replay can clearly see the ball is out of play when the ball is crossed in for City's second goal," an emotional Martinez told Radio 5 live's Alastair Yeomans .
"The tie was a real good football game. You don't expect to concede a goal in that manner. It's very, very hard to take."
