World Cup winning fly-half Paul Grayson says Englandās turnaround under Eddie Jones has been aided by former cricketer turned sports psychologist Jeremy Snape.
Jones has a 100% record as England coach, winning all 13 of his games in charge since taking over after th2 2015 World Cup, the latest win a 37-21 victory over Australia at Twickenham which saw the side end the year unbeaten.
Snape played 10 one day internationals for England during his cricketing career and Grayson says heās had a big influence.
āHeās somebody Eddie brought in straightaway and heās been working with the team,ā said Grayson.
āWhen you track through this 12 months theyāve gone through and you look for that common language the players are using, mental resilience is high on the list.
āHaving processes and protocols on the field that reorganise everybody is tremendously powerful and having somebody in the team like that, that you trust as a player and who can be a sounding board and an influencer in those areas is hugely important,ā he added.
