Lizzie Kelly: Cheltenham Gold Cup fall ā€˜horrific’

Jockey Lizzie Kelly, who guided the 10-1 shot Tea For Two to victory on the opening day of the Grand National meeting at Aintree, says her fall in the Cheltenham Gold Cup did the horse the ā€œworld of goodā€.

Kelly, who was the first female jockey in Cheltenham’s Gold Cup for 30 years, was unseated at the second fence in March and described the moment as ā€˜horrific’ and ā€˜disastrous’.

However, the 23-year-old told 5 live’s Sarah Brett that Tea For Two has now ā€œlearned if he doesn’t listen to me things will go wrongā€.
