Neville: FA chief shouldnāt comment on Englandās performance
Ex-England defender Phil Neville has hit back at Football Association chief executive Martin Glennās criticisms of the national side.
Speaking at the Leaders in Sport conference, Glenn said āEngland players do not travel wellā and described their performance against Iceland at Euro 2016 as āshameā.
However, Neville believes Glenn should not be ācommenting on the football sideā and should ājust leave it to [manager] Gareth Southgateā.
BBC senior football reporter Ian Dennis also criticised Glennās comments, stating that England ādo travel wellā in qualifying.
