3. Forward and Reverse Motor Circuit Assembly
The slide switch on the circuit can also be used to change the direction of the motor by reversing the terminal connections. Review the lesson on battery polarity in Module 1 for more information. Scroll down to see what happens when you change the position of the switch.

Changing the position of the switch on the electrical diagram reverses the electrical flow. The motor will now turn in the opposite direction.
