Hi there The Bollywood site looks cool. Can you make coloured blocks on the left side (links). Will look more appealing. Just a thought. Haku Juhu, Mumbai Dear Haku, Many thanks for your kind suggestion with regards to our Bollywood section. We don't use coloured backgrounds on the links to the left of the pages as it may be difficult for people to read when using certain web browsers. Thanks again for your comments. Dear Manish,
I checked out your Bollywood reviews on the BBC Shropshire website and I think that they are excellent!
Regards Nathan Gilligan Film Buyer UCI Empire London Dear Nathan, Your comments have been much appreciated by all at BBC Shropshire. It makes it all worthwhile to know that someone who is involved with the film industry appreciates our Bollywood presentation. Do keep in touch. January 2003 - Manish |
I loved the movie; Dil Hai Tumaara. Priety Zinta's acting was natural and full of mixed feelings.
But I didn't like, when "Dev" announce his love to "Shalu", it was fast and we didn't feel the romance. Also the last scene in the movie wasn't what I expected, indeed it needs reviewing by the director specially when the movie is based on a great story.
Generally it was a superb movie, mainly because the main star is a female (^_^)
Hana Dubai-UAE Dear Hana, I agree with you totally in what you have said about Dil Hai Tumaara. But then even experienced directors like Kundan Shah should take great care with film production in order not to spoil the general flow of the story in hand. December 2002 - Manish |
 Dear Manish,
Read your feature on Asha Bhosle. I am going to the concert and so we'll definitely send you an update on the evening's proceedings. I am sure it's going to be a fantastic concert. Simply cannot wait!
Regards Asmita Mistry LondonDear Asmita, Thankyou again for writing in. Well I am waiting with great anticipation to your personal feedback on the concert. Simply cannot wait to hear from you too! October 2002 - Manish |
 Dear Manish
Good write-up on Asha. I would have added something about how she has evolved her versitily through the demands of an everchanging industry in India as well as imposing and influencing the international music scene.
I find her a much better all round artiste than Lata, whom you still think of as more Indian artiste and not a music diva I guess.
I also feel she learns alot from R.D. Burman saab, who has on many occassions challenged the norm.
By the way isn't Sudesh her son from R.D.Burman? There we are - that's my two bits worth.
Regards Kamlesh Bharadia London Dear Kamlesh, I do appreciate your views on Asha Bhosle and agree with the singer's great versality. This has definitely been in her favour over the past few years as compared to her elder sister, Lataji who still receives great accolades across the globe due to her mesmarising voice. Thanks again for your comments. Do hope to hear from you again. November 2002 - Manish |
