Jack Catterall's light-welterweight fight against Regis Prograis has been rescheduled for 26 October at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester.

Catterall, 31, was forced to withdraw from the original fight date in August due to injury.

The Chorley fighter has won 29 fights and lost one, a contentious points defeat to former undisputed world champion Josh Taylor in 2022.

The bout was set to headline the first boxing event at the newly-built 23,500-capacity venue, but has now been put back two months.

Prograis, 35, is a former world champion and has two defeats on 31-fight record, including to Scotland's Taylor and American Devin Haney.

The co-main event between WBO lightweight champion Rhiannon Dixon and challenger Terri Harper has been moved to the undercard of Dalton Smith's fight in Sheffield on 28 September.
