    And with that, we are all done from The Hundred auction after two days, hundreds of player sales, a number of dramatic bidding wars, some shock unsold players, plenty of bargains and some shrewd squad‑building.

    A big thanks to everyone who have following along during the last two days as we brought you live coverage of the men's and women's auctions.

    With a historic first-ever auction for The Hundred now wrapped up, let's take a look at how each of the eight squads are looking like at the moment.

    All of the eight teams - in the men's and women's competitions - will be able to add two more wildcard picks to their squad after the T20 Blast comes to an end in July.

    MI London go for Jason Roy who was previously unsold.

    And they have the former England opener for £31,000 to bring the curtain down on The Hundred auction.

  6. Brad Currie, Louis Kimber join Trent Rocketspublished at 17:14 GMT 12 March

    MI London now sign Callum Parkinson for £31,000 before Edward Barnard joins Sunrisers Leeds for the same amount.

    Brad Currie, who will have his brother Scott playing for Birmingham Phoenix this season, joins Trent Rockets, who also get Louis Kimber for the same price.

  7. Manchester Super Giants sign Paul Walterpublished at 17:11 GMT 12 March

    Manchester Super Giants sign all-rounder Paul Walter for £31,000.

    Only MI London, Sunrisers Leeds and Trent Rockets have the necessary money needed to make bids now.

  8. Southern Brave sign Nikhil Chaudharypublished at 17:09 GMT 12 March

    Southern Brave sign all-rounder Nikhil Chaudhary for £31,000.

    Indian-born Chaudhary plays his domestic cricket for Tasmania and has Australia listed as his country in the auction long list.

    Matt Fisher then joins London Spirit for the base price of £31,000.

  9. Caleb Falconer joins Southern Brave for £55,000published at 17:07 GMT 12 March

    London Spirit nominate Caleb Falconer but the 19-year-old is a player Southern Brave also have on their watchlist.

    And Spirit decide against better a £55,000 bid from Brave for the England Under-19 international.

  10. Ollie Sykes to MI London as George Scrimshaw signs for MSGpublished at 17:03 GMT 12 March

    MI London have their eyes on Ollie Sykes now and the Surrey left-hander joins the London outfit for £31,000.

    Manchester Super Giants then nominate George Scrimshaw and the pacer who made his only ODI appearance for England in 2023 against Ireland is added to their star-studded line-up for £31,000.

  11. Mustafizur Rahman joins Birmingham Phoenix for £100,000published at 17:00 GMT 12 March

    Former Southern Brave bowler Reece Topley geos to Sunrisers Leeds for £31,000.

    Birmingham Phoenix then go for Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman who has a base price of £100,000 and with Southern Brave deciding against making a move, they have their player.

  12. Welsh Fire sign Jafer Chohanpublished at 16:58 GMT 12 March

    Welsh Fire have been told by auctioneer Richard Madley that they are the ones to nominate a player next - much to their surprise!

    After some deliberations around the table, they finally come up with the name of Jafer Chohan.

    Chohan has a base price of £31,000 and Southern Brave decide to go after the English leg-spinner.

    But a bid of £35,000 is enough for the Cardiff side to sign Chohan.

  13. Sam Cook goes to Welsh Fire after four-way battlepublished at 16:53 GMT 12 March

    It is Trent Rockets' turn to nominate a player again and they are rivalled for their player of choice yet again.

    London Spirit are the first to express interest in Sam Cook before they pull out. But Southern Brave then join the battle for the medium pacer.

    Just when Brave thought they had Cook, Welsh Fire pop up with a £70,000 bid to sign the player.

  14. Danny Briggs to Trent Rockets for £70,000published at 16:51 GMT 12 March

    Trent Rockets are up next to pick a player and they nominate Danny Briggs.

    But MI London bid £32,500 for the 34-year-old who played for them under their previous guise of Oval Invincibles in 2022.

    He fetches £70,000 as Rockets outbid MI London for the left-arm spinner.

  15. Liam Patterson-White to Sunrisers Leeds as Matthew Short joins Welsh Firepublished at 16:46 GMT 12 March

    Liam Patterson-White will join Sunrisers Leeds for £31,000.

    Matthew Short then moves to Welsh Fire for the base price of £75,000.

  16. Ethan Brookes joins Birmingham Phoenix for £70,000published at 16:45 GMT 12 March

    Birmingham Phoenix nominate Ethan Brookes at £31,000.

    But Sunrisers Leeds are also interested in the 24-year-old.

    But Phoenix stand firm and sign Brookes, who is untested in The Hundred, for £70,000.

  17. MI London sign Olly Stone for £50,000published at 16:42 GMT 12 March

    MI London now nominate Olly Stone, the former England fast bowler.

    The 32-year-old goes to the Oval outfit for the base price of £50,000.

  18. Dan Worrall joins Southern Brave for £80,000published at 16:41 GMT 12 March

    Manchester Super Giants nominate Dan Worrall who has a base price of £50,000.

    But they are rivalled by a bid of £55,000 by Trent Rockets.

    Super Giants then run out of money as Rockets increase the bid to £75,000 before Southern Brave come into play.

    The fast bowler eventually goes to Brave for £80,000.

  19. London Spirt sign Lhuan-dre Pretoriuspublished at 16:39 GMT 12 March

    It's the turn of London Spirt next.

    They go for South Africa's Lhuan-dre Pretorius and sign the wicketkeeper-batter for £31,000.

  20. Southern Brave sign Tom Abell for £31,000published at 16:37 GMT 12 March

    Southern Brave are the first side to nominate one of the unsigned players.

    And they nominate is Somerset's Tom Abell who has a base price of £31,000.

    Nobody in the room rivals them for Abell and Brave have their player.
