    South Africa batter and player of the match Aiden Markram: "We bowled well and the powerplay was big thing for us to get out of nicely. We then had a run of momentum in our batting innings.

    "In the second innings, the wicket got good again. It was tacky earlier on so we got lucky with the toss. Our bowlers left us with less work to do."

    On his form: "My plan has been get into rhythm and not be so rigid and structured. The flow with my hands has helped but I just locked in today. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but it is nice when it comes off."

    On his captaincy: "Captain or not, when you open the batting, it is your responsibility. The top three of us batters have made sure we get the team off to a good start. It came off today and hopefully we can continue."

    South Africa have now won five of their six encounters with the West Indies at the T20 World Cup.

    The exception came in 2016, when West Indies' three-wicket victory set them on their way to a second title.

    South Africa continue their unbeaten run in the tournament - and they continue it in absolute style!

    It is captain Aiden Markram who finishes things off with a beautifully lofted four straight down the ground. He claims a wonderful 82 not out in this important Super 8s game.

    This victory will almost certainly place South Africa in the semi-finals, but they will have to wait for official confirmation.

    An over of all sorts for South Africa. They take a total of eight runs and two extra from it though.

    Ryan Rickelton found the only boundary with a slashed shot out to deep cover for four. There literally wasn't a fielder in sight.

    They are well and truly on course to finish things off in the next over, needing just four runs from 24 balls.

    West Indies are clearly trying their best to drag things out here and Jason Holder does his job in keeping things much quieter.

    After all, net run-rate could definitely come into play in Group 1.

    They are absolutely cruising to victory at the Narendra Modi Stadium - and in doing so they will continue their unbeaten run at the T20 World Cup!

    South Africa have decided they want an early dinner tonight!

    Between them, Aiden Markram and Ryan Rickelton wallop three sixes into the stands to punish West Indies bowler Roston Chase.

    One of them carried for 92 metres!

    South Africa now just need 41 runs off the final seven overs.

    That is a brilliant shot from Ryan Rickelton. These players have so much ability to rock backwards and just whack the ball.

    South Africa are showing intent to win this as quickly as possible.

    Ryan Rickelton is a lovely talent, he has a lovely strike of the cricket ball. Aiden Markram needs to make sure he stays there alongside him.

    South Africa are cleverly sticking with the left-hand right-hand combination.

    South Africa are at a more than healthy place at the halfway stage though. They know they don't need to take any major risks.
