Harrogate Town have signed defenders Chanse Headman and Cathal Heffernan, both on 18-month contracts.
Headman, 20, joins from Brentford, while Heffernan, also 20, moves from Newcastle United.
The ex-Bees defender scored once in five league appearances on loan with National League South side Maidenhead earlier this season.
"I just want to get playing now and keep the club in the league they deserve to be in," Headman told BBC Radio York.
Republic of Ireland-born Heffernan did not play for Newcastle's first team after a move from AC Milan in the summer of 2023.
The pair could make their debut for the Sulphurites, who are second bottom in League Two, in Saturday's trip to Shrewsbury Town (15:00 GMT).
