Glasgow City remain top of the SWPL table

Glasgow City continued their unbeaten run as they eased aside Partick Thistle to remain top of the SWPL with a 3-0 win at Petershill Park.

Amy Anderson got the league leaders up and running after a quarter of an hour when she bundled home Lisa Evans' cross.

Anderson grabbed City's second in the first half when she latched onto a loose ball in the Partick Thistle box to tap beyond Jeni Currie in goals.

Natalia Wrobel got the third goal for the league leaders, the forward drove into the box and slotted the ball into the back of the net.

The result leaves City comfortably clear at the top of the SWPL table while Thistle remain in the bottom half.
