Liam Pullen has pulled out some cracking shots in the opening two frames on Table 1 - but he'll be a bit perturbed to only be level after seeing that second frame pinched from his grasp.

Yep, the world number one opens his account.

Again he broke down midway through the frame on a 60 break.

But this time Gary Wilson was unable to punish the 'Ace in the Pack' this time and a relieved Trump halves his deficit.

He knocked in a lovely break of 63 but missed a red to middle to let Chris Wakelin back in the frame.

In the end, Wakelin still needed a snooker with just blue, pink and black remaining - but he landed a beauty behind the black after Pullen missed a very gettable blue.

Not only did Pullen fail to escape, the cue ball went in off, gifting Wakelin an easy pink to set up the frame-pinching black.

Losing a frame like that - one Judd should have won - if he loses the next one, all of a sudden you're looking at damage limitation for the session.

Judd will be thinking about that right now.

Gary looks in great form, he's giving Judd plenty to think about.

Judd Trump looked well on his way to levelling matters but missed a relatively routine blue and his break broke down on 47.

From there, Gary Wilson chipped away at the deficit with a few visits and compiled a fine 40 clearance up to and including the pink to pinch frame two.
